English Riding Lessons

For over 35 years Bertin Stables has taught the proper techniques and sportsmanship to hundreds of students of all ages, starting at age five, in a fun and safe environment. With many horses on the property there is one to fit everyone's liking.

Our facilities include two large indoor arenas, a large outdoor ring, and a small indoor ring for pony private lessons. Visiting hours are between 10am & 1pm on Sundays.

All prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

Adults & Teenagers

Weeknight classes - special rate of four (4) lessons for $107.00 paid in advance or one for $35.00. Renewals are due on the fourth (4th) lesson to save your spot.

Please call the office to arrange a make-up class during that week if you are unable to attend your lesson. Please note: We do not add on to the end of your four weeks for missed lessons.

Hoofpick Club

Friday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (cost $35). Includes a lesson, grooming, theory, pony cart rides, extra riding and supervision. Bring a snack and spend some time at the farm. Parents drop-off and pick-up only please.

Saturday At The Farm

Saturday students are invited to spend a day at the farm from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (cost $40.00). Includes your lesson, grooming, theory, extra riding, cart rides, games etc... Bring a lunch and join the fun!! Parents drop-off and pick-up only please.

P. D. Days

Any time school is out - 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for a cost of $53.50. Please call the office to register.

Overnights

Arrangements can be made for some Friday night sleepovers in the school house. Call for information.

Camps

    We offer day and overnight camps throughout the summer and the school year including Easter, Christmas, and March breaks. Camps include riding lesson, pleasure swimming (pool 3 feet deep), tennis (balls and racquets provided), horse shows, games etc. Overnight camps include all accomodation from Monday to Friday at 4:00 p.m. Overnighters must bring their own food. All camps must be prepaid.

Health card number - taped into suitcase

Special Events

We often have special events for our riders, these include horse shows, clinics, hunter pace, sleepovers and trips to other countries to compete in the junior internationals. Watch our newsletter for dates of upcoming events.

Horse Shows

There is a jumper derby on the last Sunday of every month from September to June. Start time is 10:00 a.m. and the cost is $35.00 to enter. A great learning experience for riders at all levels, and a chance to see your Friday and Saturday children ride and compete.
